INDICATION:
The air/water valve is used to control inflow of medical gases and water whilst preventing back flow.
The suction valve is used to control suction whilst preventing inflow of air during Gl endoscopic procedures.
The biopsy valve is used to cover the opening to the biopsy/suction channel of Olympus gastrointestinal endoscopes. It provides access for endoscopic device passage and exchange, helps maintain insufflation, minimizes leakage of biomaterial from the biopsy port thought the endoscopic procedure and provides access for irrigation.
